With apologies to William Shakespeare, whether to use a fragranced or unfragranced product is much debated. At Zoey Naturals, we are cognizant of the fact that some people want to avoid all fragrances no matter the origins.
That is why we are introducing two of our most popular offerings…lotion and head-to-toe wash…fragrance-free! We have product available for immediate shipping in a handy 9.65 oz size.
There can be safety issues with harsh chemical fragrances. Unfortunately, some companies will use fragrances to hide some chemicals that they don’t want listed on ingredient decks. These include endocrine disruptors, styrene, phthalates, and musk ketones. You see, as these are used in fragrance production, they can be lumped together on an ingredient deck as fragrance. This even includes incidents of companies hiding formaldehyde in their scents.
Zoey Naturals’ fragranced products use 100% essential oils (plus pure vanilla extract) as their only fragrance source:
- Citrus is Citrus Fivefold (concentrated), Sweet Orange and White Grapefruit.
- Lavender is a mix of French Lavender and Bulgarian Lavender
- Vanilla Grapefruit is Pure Vanilla Extract and Pink Grapefruit
- Lemon Squeeze is Lemon Verbena and Bergamot
- Island Hibiscus is Bulgarian Rose Oil, Rosewood Oil and Tangerine Oil
- English Garden is Ylang Ylang Oil, Neroli Oil, Bulgarian Rose Oil and Rosewood Oil
There are many advantages to using essential oils as your fragrance choice. Essential oils are natural and non-toxic and offer many therapeutic benefits.
