Zoey Naturals SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Stick

Absolutely Natural - Zoey Naturals - SPF 50 Children's Sunscreen Stick.

Mine arrived on a hot day, a bit broken and melty but it held up pretty well.
This gave me a good idea of how it will handle being thrown in a beach bag sitting in the Florida sun.

We were at the beach for a while and neither of us got burned or tanned, so it works.

It is fragrance free. They do not add any fragrance. But it has an odor to it, because of the things that are in the sunblock. I do not think it smells like other fragrance free sunblocks which is a huge plus. But I also do not like the way this smells, neither does my partner.

I rubbed the stick all over my dry face. It feels thick and kind of waxy on, and keeps that waxy feel to it until you wash it off ... with a good facial cleanser. Soap did not get it off. Even my gentle face wash did not get it off. I used cold cream, followed by two washes with my facial cleanser (to get off the cold cream).

I have sensitive eczema prone skin and it did not irritate my face. So for me I would use this again.
I do not like the odor. Another reviewer mentioned it smelled like an old crayon, I agree with them.
But the odor did not give me a migraine like most sunblocks (even fragrance free sunblocks), so for me this is better than most.

My partner said he would not use it again unless it was all we had, due to the odor and the difficultly washing it off.
But I would use it again. It did not irritate my skin or give me a headache so it is in my swim bag now.

This sunscreen is thick, but it does rub in once it warms to the skin. It does feel a bit greasy, as mineral sunscreens often do. That's ok for us. It also leaves a white cast, which I don't like on myself but I don't mind on my kids.

The stick form travels easily, and is less messy than a cream to apply. However it won't last long. So I would probably apply a cream at home, and bring this along to re-apply during an outing.

There is no fragrance added to this, but it had an odd smell, like old crayons. I didn't love it. I would have liked something like a sweet orange or mint or lavender to cover up the crayon smell.

-I love that these are fragrance free but it does have a light oil smell to it
-This yellowish sunscreen stick is water resistant and lasts for about 80 minutes under the sun before you need to reapply
-It leaves a sheer effect after applying and does not leave any white residue
-It is gentle even on babies with a broad spectrum of SPF 50
I wish this is a bigger stick as it will probably not last long if you use it on the body as well

Overview: I love the small size for traveling, it’s the perfect size for a weekend trip. It’s not messy and goes on clear. The smell was a little gamey and it was difficult to apply to my nose.
Pros:
- travel size: This is excellent for travel. It fits easily in a small handbag or even a back pocket. It supplies just enough for a weekend at the beach so you don’t have tubes/bottles laying around for months.
- Dries clear: it mostly goes on clear as well, there were a few streaks, but they dried clear
- Not messy: the stick style is nice because you aren’t dealing with cough-inducing aerosols or slimy lotions.

Cons:
- smell: it’s mostly unscented, but there’s kind of a gamey scent to it
- Difficult to get contours: the downside to the stick is that you’re a bit limited to flat patches of skin. It can be tricky get around the nose

Product is thick so a little hard to get out of the tube. Otherwise it's great and appreciate the all natural ingredients

This product is amazing for the kids. I been using it for the kids at a daycare I work at and it’s been so good for them. Doesn’t have a bad smell and blends in correctly

You really only need a small amount to cover most of your child! Its safe for sensitive skin and protects really well!

I only buy natural products for my son and I'm glad to have found one that is fragrance free. Fragrance is bad for the endocrine and reproductive system. I actually like that it's a little thicker because that tells me it's not going to wash right off. And the main thing is to protect my child's skin. Just shake the tube really well and rub it in. It works.

I bought this after doing some research on natural products! This goes on really well and doesn’t leave a white film! It’s a bit thicker so a little harder to get out of the tube but otherwise I highly recommend! It’s the only sun screen we use on our kids!

This is super great for travel as it is in stick form rather than liquid (can get through TSA at the airport very easily!) and is nice and compact. Also, because it's not a liquid, there is no mess. It also is very easy to apply.

It seems to do a decent job of blocking the sun. I use it on my tattoos without any issues. I will say that compared to other liquid sunscreen, this one seems to linger on top of the skin a bit more, so that you feel sticky and your skin feels heavy. I do not like that aspect, but it does give me piece of mind that I am wearing sunscreen and it is doing it's job, so it depends on what matters more to you.

My kids' skin does not react well to most sunscreens, but they had no problems with this one. The 50 SPF was effective for our day at the beach. The stick was convenient to use, not as easy to spread as a lotion, but pretty standard for mineral sunscreens. It had a slight smell to it, but not bad at all -- the kids didn't bat an eye at it. Overall I was very happy with this product -- great ingredients for sensitive skin and effective.

This is so convenient to throw in the diaper bag. The roll-on stick makes it really easy to apply sunscreen on the go and even we apply it throughout the day. There was minimal to no white cast and it’s not sticky or greasy. Very nice to have for the toddler mom life.

This Sunscreen Stick with 50 SPF arrived well-packaged and in good Condition. Based on my Dermatologist’s Suggestion, I ordered this Sunscreen Stick mainly for its Zinc Ingredient, as it offers full Protection against the Sun. It’s perfect for Sensitive and/or Hyperpigmented Skin.
The Stick applies easily onto the Skin. Having used other Zinc Sunscreens before, I did expect a certain Smell to it, which, however, does not irritate my Eyes like most Sunscreens.
This Sunscreen leaves a Water-resistant Type of Layer on the Skin, which is why a lot of People use Zinc Sunscreens in Water-proof Makeup. But it comes off with a Facial Cleanser like Water-proof Makeups. Other than that, I like the Travel-Size of this Sunscreen. Overall, I am very happy with this Sunscreen.

This is a great sun stick to have in the diaper bag or hand bag. It's also great for the toiletry bag when traveling because it is so compact and is not a liquid or gel.

Application is very smooth and rubs into skin nicely. It does have a little bit of an unscented scent to it, but it doesn't seem to bother my toddler at all. It does a good job protection my toddler from sunburns.

A nice zinc sunscreen in a stick for easy application! No more lotion that gets all over the place. Great for kids!

Convenient sunscreen that rolls on like deodorant. I did not have any burns while wearing it out for a hike, but it felt heavy on the skin. The sunscreen spreads more easily in the warmer temperatures and while it says unscented, it does have a odor.

I ordered this for our recent cruise for easy application for the kiddos face & on the go. It does leave a slight white tint but it rubs in easily & leaves your skin clear. There is absolutely no scent. While I prefer a slight scent I understand non-scented is better for face. The stick is very convenient. Easily fits in the diaper bag, purse or even in your pocket.

I like using sunscreen sticks to reapply through out the day especially when I am outside. This one feels a bit chalky for my liking and not as moisturizing as other sticks are. I don’t like how it drags on my face and I don’t like the natural scent it has. However, I prefer using this on my neck!

This has been great to throw in our travel bag. We've mostly used this for our faces, necks and shoulders - those are some of the easiest areas to apply it to - especially if one of us is alone. Because it's a stick it's near impossible to apply to all areas alone. It does have sort of an odd scent. I can't describe it, but it isn't the most pleasant. That was my only reason for docking one star.

This applies easily, like a stick deodorant, and goes on somewhat thickly, which is a plus in my book, since most of us tend to put on less sunscreen than recommended. It provides much better and more even coverage than a spray. It's small and convenient to pack for a trip or slip in a purse or pocket; if it's on hand it gets reapplied more often, as sunscreen should be. It has no ingredients that concern me and no nano particles with potential to be absorbed through the skin.

The negative for us is that it smells like old candle wax.

This sunscreen stick is super easy to use. It was our first time using sunscreen in "stick" form and it's so much easier to apply on our kid - no mess and no grease. Just twist the stick up like deodorant and apply! We've heard great things about this brand & our kid had no negative reactions, so thumbs up from me!

They say this is for kids, but this is great for adults for travel because it is such an adorable little stick that can fit right in your backpack or purse while traveling without having to worry about sunscreen. The stick is not super thin and not super thick so you can rub it on your face without having to look like one of those beach bums with the color all over your face. It's very easy to apply and the stick is easy to adjust once using it. Again. It's not just for kids. It's SPF 50 and we all went to protect our skin during the summer so be smart and carry around a little one for your face like this.

I think that Zoey Naturals SPF 50 Children’s Sunscreen Stick is an excellent choice! Our family always tries to use non-nano zinc oxide sunscreens just because we prefer our sunscreen to sit on top of our skin as a physical barrier rather than as a chemical barrier. Zoey Natural’s stick is especially good because it is also fragrance-free. The ingredients are all very safe when you look them up on EWG. (Tocopherol acetate is the highest at 3.) It spreads well in warm weather (not as well in cool weather) and rubs in very easily without white cast on my light to medium complexion. I do like that the Zoey Naturals children's sunscreen stick has the same ingredients as this company's Absolutely Natural sunscreen stick so that both children and adults get the same gentle formula.

I always worry about sunscreen leaking when I travel, so this is great when I need a little. I don't know that it would be big enough to last a family for a whole beach vacation though, but good for a couple days. I like that it's SPF 50 and reef safe.
